The Catch-Up Vaccination
Arrived without the vaccines? It is not too late — the protection that starts after arrival still covers the rest of the trip and future travel. The hepatitis A vaccine given today protects against the exposure that happens next week. The incomplete vaccination record is fixable at our prices, not the Western prices that made it deferred at home.
Vaccine pricing at the clinic
- Hepatitis A — ~$40 (vs $80+ in US travel clinics)
- Typhoid — ~$25
- Rabies — ~$35/dose (3-dose series)

- Tetanus booster — ~$15
The Series That Follows You
The multi-dose vaccines started here can be completed after departure — we provide the documentation of doses given and the schedule for completion. The rabies series started in Kathmandu finishes at home with the same protection; the vaccine record travels with you.

What vaccines does the clinic offer?
Hepatitis A and B, typhoid, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, tetanus/diphtheria, influenza, and others — the travel vaccine inventory covers what Nepal travel requires. For vaccines we do not stock, we advise on availability and alternatives.
Do I need vaccines if already in Nepal?
It is not too late — vaccines given in-country still provide protection for the remainder of your travel and for future trips. The catch-up vaccination for the traveler who arrived unvaccinated is still worthwhile.
What do vaccines cost at the clinic?
Hepatitis A ~$40, typhoid ~$25, rabies ~$35/dose, Japanese encephalitis ~$60/dose, tetanus ~$15. Prices are competitive with international travel clinics and often lower than Western prices.
Can I get multiple vaccines in one visit?
Yes — multiple vaccines at the same visit is standard and safe. The series vaccines (rabies, JE, hepatitis B) need return visits for subsequent doses; the single-dose vaccines are one visit.
Do I get documentation for vaccines?
Yes — vaccination records suitable for official purposes (yellow cards when needed, employer/school documentation, travel records). The documentation meets international standards for vaccine verification.
