First Aid & Travel Health Workshops — Trained by Our Physicians

For Guides · Hotel Staff · Expedition Leaders

The best first aid is the kind delivered in the first 10 minutes — before anyone reaches a clinic. Our workshops teach Nepal-specific field skills: altitude emergencies, wound care, decision-making under pressure, and knowing when to call for help. Led by the same physicians who treat these cases daily.

Health Education That Prevents the Emergency

The best medical outcome is the emergency that never happens — the altitude illness recognized early enough to descend, the food hygiene that prevents the GI illness, the first aid that stabilizes the injury until help arrives. Workshops transfer that knowledge from the clinic to the people who need it in the field.

Workshop formats

  • Pre-trek briefings — the 2-hour session before departure
  • First aid training — hands-on skills for remote settings
  • Guide/staff training — the trekking industry's medical capacity
  • Customized sessions — the specific needs of your organization
  • Virtual briefings — for pre-departure or remote teams

Who Benefits

The trekking agency whose guides recognize AMS early saves evacuations and clients. The school whose staff knows first aid protects students on expeditions. The NGO whose team understands remote health manages its deployments better. The workshop is an investment in outcomes — the education that prevents the crisis is cheaper than the crisis.

What We Offer

Our workshops: the travel health preparation (the vaccination and the medication guidance), the altitude medicine basics (the AMS recognition and prevention), the wilderness first aid (the field medicine skills), and the specific destination briefings (the itinerary- specific health considerations).
